JoAnn Crosby, Florida Registered Paralegal
JoAnn Crosby began her career with Green & Metcalf, P.A., in March 2007 concentrating solely on Family Law matters. JoAnn is a Florida Registered Paralegal through the Florida Bar.
In 1992 JoAnn began working as a Paralegal in the civil litigation department of a large regional firm on Florida’s East Coast assisting the attorneys with legal documents, research, trial preparation and in trial. After moving to Vero Beach in 1999, she was employed as a Paralegal handling health care matters, business and corporate matters, and Social Security Disability cases. While in their employ, she assisted physicians in corporate matters, prepared documents to start new companies, prepared applications and obtained Medicare and Medicaid numbers for physician billing, Social Security Disability benefits cases, and contracts issues.
In May 1989 JoAnn began working at State Attorney’s Office in Brevard County in the misdemeanor division assisting victims and the prosecutors at trial.
JoAnn was born and raised in Elmira, NY and relocated to Florida April 30, 1989. She has been a local resident of Indian River County since 1999.
Kim Durrell, Florida Registered Paralegal
Kim Durrell began her career with Green & Metcalf, P.A. in 2000 and has assisted both attorneys in their Family and Criminal Law practice as their Legal Assistant as well as Office Manager.
Kim began her legal experience as a Deputy Clerk at the Indian River County Courthouse from 1990 through 2000. She worked in the Traffic/Misdemeanor department and then moved to the Felony Division where she held the position of Assistant Supervisor. Kim had the opportunity to gain her legal experience by clerking criminal court dockets as well as numerous criminal trials. She worked closely with Judges, Judicial Assistants, Defense Lawyers, State Prosecutor and local Law Enforcement. During that time she was a member of the Florida Association of Court Clerks.
Kim has been a local resident of Indian River County since 1984 coming from Illinois. Kim graduated from Vero Beach Senior High School where her area of schooling was Business Education. She was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America.
Miriam “Mippi” Herman, Certified Paralegal
Mippi Herman began her career with Green & Metcalf, P.A., in 2000. Mippi is a Certified Paralegal, a Florida Certified Paralegal and a Florida Registered Paralegal. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, Paralegal Association of Florida State and Local Chapters and is an Affiliate Member (Paralegal) of The Florida Bar-Family Section.
Mippi has been employed as a paralegal since 1983. She received her national certification in 1988. Her expertise has been in family and real estate matters although she now concentrates only on family matters.
Robyn Hatfield, Legal Assistant
Robyn Hatfield began her legal experience two (2) years ago at Green and Metcalf, P.A., and is currently enrolled at Indian River State College where she is working for her Associate of Science Degree in the Paralegal Studies Program. Robyn assists each of the firms Paralegals and Attorneys.
Robyn has been a local resident of Indian River County since 1986 coming from West Virginia. Robyn graduated from Vero Beach Senior High School where her area of schooling was Office Administration.
